Genemod is a venture-backed team of technology entrepreneurs and scientists headquartered in Seattle, WA. Our mission is to maximize productivity in bench research and drive the next generation of medicines. The Genemod platform enables life scientists to collaborate and streamline day-to-day operations in the research lab, making pre-clinical research efficient and reproducible. Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is a critical component of our go-to-market pipeline strategy and presents an outstanding opportunity to learn fundamental sales skills in preparation for an exciting career in software sales. We work hard and prioritize a fun, collaborative, and well-balanced culture. The BDR is often the first contact a prospective customer has with Genemod and is responsible for the first portion of a prospect 1s sales journey. Our goal is to create great customer experiences by being Genemod product experts and consulting with customers to identify their needs and pain points. Responsibilities
Prospect and develop new customers on our Genemod Platform Reach out to new trials/users within customers to expand use cases and drive more revenue Drive customers through close by thoughtfully addressing key stakeholders in the buyer journey while navigating organizational complexities Forecast pipeline accurately and achieve monthly/quarterly quotas Work with marketing and the business team on executing campaigns Help blueprint and improve on the sales collateral, processes, and training of the sales organization What We're Looking For
2-3 years of experience in a quota carrying B2B SaaS sales role Strong prospecting, territory/account planning, and team-selling experience Accurately forecast and track sales activities You have a Bachelor's degree Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment You have the ability to grow rapport and relationships with potential clients You have a great attitude that can maneuver through ambiguity and the ability to work and collaborate with a growing team You are an analytical thinker who leverages data to make informed decisions You are curious: always looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and give/receive feedback You are a results-oriented individual who is excited by fueling Genemod 1s continued growth by growing our sales pipeline; you have a can-do attitude and are relentless in pursuing goals and solving problems About Genemod
