This professional position is responsible for all activities related to the recruitment, enrollment and maintenance of iBudget waiver applicants; issuance and renewal of Medicaid Waiver Service Agreements (MWSA); processing provider expansion requests; and processing changes of ownership in APD iConnect. Responsibilities include: Review Medicaid Waiver provider application packets, notify applicants of deficiencies within 30 days, and close applications if complete submissions are not received within 45 days of deficiency notice. Maintain records of all correspondence and issue APD Initial iBudget Waiver Sign-off notices after verification of background screening, education, and experience. Process access requests to the AHCA Clearinghouse; monitor re-screening compliance; coordinate with the State Office Background Screening unit; provide guidance on Background Screening requirements. Track provider progress through the AHCA enrollment process; draft and issue initial MWSA; enter and track dates in iConnect to ensure renewals are timely; ensure required enrollment documents are in place prior to expiration. Enter new providers into APD iConnect with MWSA and Business Liability Insurance expiration dates; include providers in ABC for relevant payments where applicable. Provide technical assistance to providers regarding service provision requirements; respond to inquiries; conduct enrollment packet assistance and required documentation verification. Process provider expansion requests; communicate approvals/denials; assist in preparing Provider Agency Action Forms when termination is considered. Conduct provider recruitment activities; participate in meetings, trainings, and other activities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned and participate in disaster planning activities. High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Driver’s license or reliable transportation for travel Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) Ability to multi-task Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to maintain and utilize tracking systems Understanding of the Medicaid Waiver iBudget handbook and enrollment requirements Ability to travel for enrollment activities as needed Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Additional Information
