Position Summary
Looking for a new role that will be both challenging and rewarding? The Payment Strategy Manager role will be a key contributor to growing our US Marketplace Business.
What you'll do
Expand the range of payment options
– Deliver flexible payment options to our sellers by partnering with new payment processors globally and deepening existing relationships. Manage launches and subsequent support of payment partners by extensively collaborating internally and facilitating strategy and roadmap execution. Focus on seller experience, automation, integrations, payment security, and risk management.
Evolve and enhance payment experience
– Improve pricing, speed of funds delivery, onboarding requirements, and reducing exceptions for sellers, collaborating with payment processors, vendors, product, and operations teams.
Define business strategy and drive execution
for fintech products and value-added services such as FX, supplier, and cross-border payments.
Facilitate global tax and payment compliance
– Collaborate with internal tax stakeholders and partners to understand requirements and changes in tax and payment compliance. Drive implementation and global deployment with product, engineering, operations, legal, GTM, and other partners.
Data sharing initiatives with partners
– Define and execute strategies for partner data sharing and leveraging data for risk management. Collaborate with internal and partner legal, privacy, and compliance teams to obtain approvals.
Key success criteria
Have 3+ years of industry experience preferably in Payments and/or Financial Services with data analysis and reporting.
Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science or similar field (or bachelor's with 2 years of experience or 4 years of experience in data analytics or related field).
You are familiar with industry/category trends and ecommerce markets.
You can work with cross-functional teams and have prior experience working with Product and Technology teams; you can influence and excite internal/external partners and provide clear actionable insights.
You're data-driven and have an understanding of SQL and working with large datasets.
Able to understand vendor technical specifications (incl. API documentation) at a high level.
You are stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale; strong analytical aptitude and use of data to drive decisions.

Certificate in business analytics, data mining, or statistical analysis
Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Information Systems, Masters: Statistics
Location Sunnyvale, California US-16185: The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00
Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Stock may be included for certain positions.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 2 years' experience in data analytics or related field OR 4 years' experience in data analytics or related field.
