Overview
The Meter to Cash (M2C) team is seeking an analyst with a passion for project management and process improvement to lead improvement initiatives across the department. M2C owns a range of processes that are critical to the customer experience and Entergy’s revenue stream. This position will work with senior leaders and functional managers to define the scope and objectives of a wide variety of projects to operationalize effective and efficient business practices across all M2C teams. This includes strategic planning and analysis, O&M and Capital budgeting, data-driven problem solving, visualization, and standardizing processes. The role will utilize operational data insights to facilitate problem-solving sessions to drive teams to determine root cause and establish action plans to close gaps. The role requires developing and maintaining an understanding of M2C business processes and systems to proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. The position is expected to keep key stakeholders, including executives and M2C leaders, updated on progress, hurdles, timelines, etc., on key initiatives via Power BI and PowerPoint. This position will support other M2C groups and lead them through the process improvement methodology to develop and implement innovative technological and business solutions, enabling the business to meet its objectives. The role will also serve as a mentor to junior analysts. It is a highly visible role that will engage with multiple stakeholders across several portfolios, corporate teams, IT groups, and external partners, frequently interacting with senior leadership to provide tactical and strategic support at multiple levels. Job Responsibilities
Utilize data insights to drive root cause problem solving within operating teams to achieve sustainable results. Lead initiatives to enhance M2C processes using Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Agile methodologies. Align stakeholders around initiative vision and keep them informed on progress and key performance indicators. Provide performance transparency through metrics and reporting to drive timely and accurate execution of enhancements. Facilitate continuous improvement exercises and coaching to identify and design solutions for M2C processes. Create and manage engaging presentations in PowerPoint and Power BI to provide concise updates to stakeholders. Mentor junior analysts to increase analytical skills and improve overall group performance. Collaborate in a team environment, manage multiple time-critical projects simultaneously, and operate in a highly visible and rapidly changing work environment. Minimum Requirements
Education : Bachelor's Degree in a technical, economics or business field required, or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred. Experience : 7+ years of related professional experience. In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related professional experience is required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities : Demonstrated experience with strategic or long-term business planning, complex problem analysis and solution implementation, or transformational process improvement projects. Strong quantitative skills with Excel or similar tools and proficiency with PowerPoint and Word. Certificates, Licenses, etc.
