Location: Trinity Health Livonia Hospital

Part-Time/Days

Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact through compassionate care and precision in specimen collection and processing.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Phlebotomist to perform specimen collection and processing for both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role includes venipuncture, capillary puncture, urine collection, and data entry in EPIC. You'll also assist with patient registration, insurance verification, and ensure accurate demographic and financial information is obtained.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood and specimen collection with accuracy and care.

Process specimens including centrifugation and aliquoting.

Register patients and verify insurance details.

Maintain equipment and workstations.

Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.

Uphold confidentiality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Phlebotomy or related healthcare training preferred.

Previous lab or medical experience is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records.
