Overview
Director, Global Supply Chain – New Product Introduction (NPI) & Change Management We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Director of Global Supply Chain – New Product Introduction (NPI) & Change Management to lead the strategic integration of supply chain functions into the product lifecycle—from concept and development through launch and sustaining operations. This critical leadership role aligns cross-functional teams across R&D, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless supply chain readiness for new products and robust execution of engineering changes. You will lead and grow a global team of program managers, manufacturing engineers, and change control professionals, driving operational excellence, compliance, and speed-to-market across our portfolio. This is a fully onsite role based in our Rock Hill, SC facility, requiring in-person presence Monday through Friday, with opportunities for close collaboration with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, office-based environment. Strategic Leadership & Vision Defines the global supply chain strategy for NPI and Change Management to enable profitable growth, operational scalability, and competitive advantage. Establishes governance processes and decision-making frameworks to align cross-functional stakeholders and ensure business readiness at each product lifecycle gate. Champions the integration of Design-for-X (DFX), Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize manufacturability, cost, and quality. Leads global supply chain engagement from early product concept through EVT/DVT/PVT and production ramp, ensuring supplier readiness, manufacturing line setup, and logistics planning. Oversees execution of supply chain deliverables for multiple, concurrent NPIs across diverse technologies and geographies. Ensures BOM accuracy, supplier qualification, regulatory compliance (e.g., RoHS, REACH, WEEE), and risk mitigation plans are in place and rigorously managed. Directs the global Change Management process to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient implementation of engineering and manufacturing changes across the enterprise. Defines best practices, KPIs, and dashboards to measure effectiveness, responsiveness, and impact of change execution. Partners with functional leaders to minimize disruption to production and customer commitments while executing changes with precision. Cross-Functional Collaboration Builds and sustains strong partnerships with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Operations, and Product Management leaders to ensure supply chain considerations are embedded early in product development. Facilitates cross-functional leadership forums, drives resource alignment, and influences prioritization of global initiatives. Acts as the primary executive interface for supply chain NPI/Change Management performance, providing transparent communication of roadmaps, risks, and mitigations. Team Development & Culture Leads, mentors, and develops a global team of supply chain professionals, fostering a high-performance culture based on trust, empowerment, and accountability. Promotes diversity of thought, collaboration across time zones, and continuous professional development. Ensures the team embodies corporate values while delivering extraordinary results under dynamic conditions. Drives standardization, automation, and digitalization of supply chain NPI and Change Management processes. Benchmarks best-in-class industry practices and incorporates learnings into internal frameworks. Leads initiatives to reduce waste, cycle time, and cost while enhancing quality and customer satisfaction. Will travel up to 20% of the time (domestic & international) Qualifications
What You Will Bring: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. 12+ years of experience in global supply chain, operations, or program management, with at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Proven track record of leading NPI supply chain readiness and large-scale engineering change programs in complex, global manufacturing environments. Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to manage complexity and deliver results across multiple initiatives. Deep knowledge of product lifecycle management (Agile, Oracle, PDM/PLM) and supply chain systems. Exceptional cross-functional leadership, influence, and communication skills across executive and technical audiences. Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Design-for-X practices.
