Overview
Director, Global Supply Chain – New Product Introduction & Change Management role at 3D Systems Corporation. Lead the strategic integration of supply chain functions into the product lifecycle—from concept and development through launch and sustaining operations. Align cross-functional teams across R&D, Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless supply chain readiness for new products and robust execution of engineering changes. What You Will Do
Strategic Leadership & Vision: Define the global supply chain strategy for NPI and Change Management to enable profitable growth, operational scalability, and competitive advantage. Governance & Readiness: Establish governance processes and decision-making frameworks to align cross-functional stakeholders and ensure business readiness at each product lifecycle gate. Process Improvement: Champion the integration of DFX, Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies to optimize manufacturability, cost, and quality. NPI Program Leadership: Lead global supply chain engagement from concept through EVT/DVT/PVT and production ramp, ensuring supplier readiness, manufacturing line setup, and logistics planning. Change Management Leadership: Direct the global Change Management process to implement engineering and manufacturing changes across the enterprise, with defined KPIs and dashboards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build partnerships with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Operations, and Product Management to embed supply chain considerations early in development. Team Development & Culture: Lead a global team of program managers, manufacturing engineers, and change control professionals; foster a high-performance culture. Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Drive standardization, automation, and digitalization of NPI and Change Management processes; reduce waste, cycle time, and cost while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Travel: Will travel up to 20% domestically and internationally. What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. 12+ years of experience in global supply chain, operations, or program management, with at least 5+ years in senior leadership roles. Proven track record of leading NPI supply chain readiness and large-scale engineering change programs in complex, global manufacturing environments. Strong strategic planning and execution skills; ability to manage complexity and deliver results across multiple initiatives. Deep knowledge of product lifecycle management (e.g., Agile, Oracle, PDM/PLM) and supply chain systems. exceptional cross-functional leadership, influence, and communication across executive and technical audiences. Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or Design-for-X practices; ability to lead diverse global teams and foster accountability, innovation, and excellence. 3D Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
