Are you an experienced auto mechanic or mechanical assembler looking to leverage your hands-on skills in a manufacturing environment? We are seeking someone mechanically inclined who has experience building systems with hydraulic and pneumatic attributes, as well as mechanical components and sub-assemblies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, reading schematics, and solving mechanical problems.
We build high-performance systems that power real-world applications. A strong focus will be placed on assembling and testing the systems to ensure that all assemblies meet our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assemble mechanical systems and components, using blueprints and 3D drawings
Install and plumb hydraulic and pneumatic tubing
Perform alignment adjustment and basic functional tests to ensure correct operation of the unit
Troubleshoot mechanical issues during assembly, utilizing your hands-on problem-solving skills
Prepare units for final inspection with visual checks in a qualified quality verification process
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years of experience in auto mechanics or mechanical assembly
General knowledge of computers and office software
Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams,assembly drawings,bills of material, and CAD file drawings
Strong knowledge of mechanical principles,strong analytical and evaluative skills to troubleshootissues
Ability to use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and power toolsto complete assembly tasks
Proficiency in written and verbal communication
Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members to improve assembly processes and resolve technical challenges
Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to stand 95% of the time. Other physical demands include lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 70lbs., as well as walking, twisting, reaching, and bending
HighSchool Diploma or GED
