GCA is seeking a Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS), Local Area Network Branch (NTS-LAN), which operates enterprise-wide across multiple DLA locations. This contract supports wired and wireless LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support for current and emerging technologies within the Local Area Network (LAN) environment.
While this position is primarily remote, candidates should reside within driving distance of a DLA location (e.g., Columbus, OH; Dayton, OH; New Cumberland, PA; Philadelphia, PA; Battle Creek, MI; Ogden, UT; Richmond, VA; Warner Robins, GA; Fort Belvoir, VA; or Norfolk, VA) and be available for on-site visits as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) is responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s). The TOPM is responsible for reviewing and approving technical solutions and developing effective schedules for the program.
Ensures regional leads are working together in a standardized manner.
Manage project schedules and resources to ensure deliverables meet government timelines.
Communicate weekly with DLA Project Managers, Points of Contact, and regional LAN Leads.
Resolve issues/problems, allocate resources, manage project personnel, and oversee project operations/performance.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
Prepare and provide ad hoc slides for DLA management and attend meetings as required.
Requirements
BS or BA, or four (4) additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree
Sensitivity Level: IT-I – Critical Sensitive
Clearance: Secret (TS preferred)
PMP or equivalent certification
DoD Approved 8570/8140 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
Computing Environment certification such as: BPIPA, CCDA, CCSA, CCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCSPA, or SCNA
Five (5) years of relevant project management experience
Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector within the IT and/or consulting fields
Five (5) years of DLA technical LAN or WAN support experience
Experience supporting a DoD Combatant Command (COCOM) or agency is preferred
