is seeking a Director of Business Development - Upstream to join our client’s team.
Overview COMPANY OVERVIEW: Our client drives businesses forward with innovative energy products and services including fuel, lubricants, propane, and reliability services nationwide.

Director of Business Development - Upstream
LOCATION:
Houston, TX
COMPENSATION:

Summary Develops business opportunities to increase revenues and profits through penetrating all levels. Maintains current accounts and cultivates new opportunities for the sale of products and services.
Responsibilities
Develop and refine the company’s business development strategy, monitor market trends, and identify new opportunities for growth
Source, evaluate, and prioritize potential strategic opportunities, including acquisitions, divestitures and new product/service ventures
Build and nurture strategic partnerships with clients, vendors and other stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor
Lead efforts to assess the technical, financial and operational aspects of potential deals and develop financial models for valuation
Manage the end-to-end process of deal execution, including term sheet negotiation and contract finalization
Prepare proposals and necessary documentation for requesting bids, including feasibility studies for new business
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align messaging, generate leads, and achieve defined sales and margin targets
Lead a high-performing business development team and external advisors to achieve business objectives
Experience and Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry, including drilling operations and hydraulic fracturing (fracking)
Strong financial modeling, valuation analysis, and economic forecasting skills
Proven ability to lead complex sales processes, negotiate favorable contracts, and close deals
Ability to identify key opportunities and develop long-term strategies for growth
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for presenting to executive leadership and internal teams
Ability to guide teams and drive successful outcomes in an entrepreneurial environment
Strong external industry network and the ability to build new relationships effectively
