Overview Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and support capital project execution across Transmission Services. Participate in the development of plans-of-service, new facility siting, and manage the design/build process. This role facilitates Transmission Lines, Substation, or Telecommunications infrastructure projects from inception to conclusion within the organization. The Project Manager plans, facilitates, and coordinates activities for a designated project to verify that goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Transmission Line projects may include taps and switches, insulator replacements, integration of small customer projects, aging wood pole replacements or small wood pole line rebuilds, structure relocation projects, access roads, fiber, and more. Substation projects may include equipment replacements, additions, expansions, or retirements. Telecommunications projects may include new or modified radio sites, relaying, or other telecommunications infrastructure projects.

Position Details This is a 2+ year consultant position with a high probability of long-term and ongoing continued employment. This position is hybrid with onsite 1–2 days weekly as needed in Vancouver, Washington.

Compensation The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.93) is

$48.00 - $55.00 , depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as the composition of the selected compensation package.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Management, Organizational Development, Computer Science or other directly related technical disciplines is preferred.

5 years of experience is required with an applicable Bachelor’s degree.

7 years of experience is required without a Bachelor’s degree in the applicable field.

10 years of experience is required without a degree.

Experience should include project coordination/management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution. Note: Level 2 is typically responsible for medium-sized projects (less than $25M cost) or portions of larger projects.

Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft SharePoint or similar system to store, analyze, and manipulate information.

Demonstrated proficiency using MS Office Suite to store, analyze and manipulate information.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar program.

Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.

Preferred Skills

PMI or PMP certification.

Demonstrated proficiency with ArcMap or similar GIS program.

Experience with electric utility industry data.

Working knowledge of the Electrical Substation environment, functional and technical specifications, and life-cycle management.
