Chaminade College Preparatory School, an independent Catholic and Marianist school for young men in grades 6–12, is seeking a highly qualified Vice President of Finance and Operations to serve as a key member of the school’s leadership team. Reporting directly to the President, the Vice President provides strategic oversight of all financial and operational aspects of the school to ensure long-term sustainability and mission effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction for all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reportin Oversee business office functions, human resources, annual audit, benefits administration, facilities management and safety and security Administer and provide oversight of the school’s financial aid program to ensure equitable and mission-aligned allocation of resources Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the school’s mission and strategic plan Participate in management of capital projects and long-term campus planning Collaborate with the President, Board of Trustees, and administrative team on financial planning and resource allocation Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirements Qualifications
Commitment to Catholic education and support of the Marianist charism Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field required; advanced degree or CPA strongly preferred Minimum of 5 years of senior-level financial and operational leadership experience, ideally in education, nonprofit, or mission-driven organizations Demonstrated expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and organizational management Strong leadership, communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills Experience implementing innovative and forward-thinking internal business practices About Chaminade
