The Opportunity That Awaits You As we continue to grow our manufacturing operations, PROCEPT seeks an Associate Robotics and Automation Engineer who can bring hands-on expertise to develop new automation equipment, improve current designs and equipment documentation, manage automation projects, and perform technology audits.

What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve
Robotics Design:
Apply experience in mechanical design (ideally in manufacturing) to develop new automated equipment and upgrade current equipment with a focus on ergonomics, reliability, and production scale.
Technical Problem Solving:
Work with teams to problem-solve issues, assess unusual circumstances using analytical techniques, identify root causes, and apply advanced methodologies to resolve them.
Creativity and Innovation:
Resolve a wide range of issues creatively, propose variations in approach when necessary, and support innovative solutions to complex problems.
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
BS/MS in an Engineering discipline such as mechanical or electrical engineering with internship experience
Basic experience with mechanical drawings and 3D modeling
Basic understanding of robotic programming
Ability to develop and write a test protocol
Ability to write a lab report
Basic understanding of root cause analysis to troubleshoot basic mechanical assemblies and manufacturing processes
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and proficiency in Smartsheets
Basic understanding of manufacturing principles
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python
Salary and Benefits : $83,500 - $98,000 a year. This position includes a 10% bonus and RSUs at offer.
