Responsibilities

• Administer outpatient infusion therapies (biologics, immunoglobulin, antibiotics, hydration, specialty medications) using evidence-based nursing practices
• Monitor patients for infusion reactions and adverse events; initiate emergency interventions as required
• Verify infusion orders, safety labs, and treatment plans for regulatory compliance
• Educate patients and families about infusion treatments, side effects, home care, and follow-up
• Document all care accurately and promptly in EMR (Medication Administration Records)
• Meet clinic throughput benchmarks (6–8 infusions per RN per day) and support daily optimization goals
• Collaborate with nurse managers, providers, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Participate in process improvement and serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff
• Maintain compliance with institutional policies, Joint Commission standards, and state/federal regulations
• Engage in continuing education and mandatory competencies for infusion therapy and ambulatory nursing

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state (NH healthcare jobs)
• At least 1 year of recent acute care, infusion, or ambulatory nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong IV therapy, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Preferred: Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
• Preferred: Experience in medical infusion, oncology, or ambulatory specialty care
• Proficient with electronic medical records (EPIC preferred)
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and New Hampshire regulatory standards for infusion nursing
• Adherence to professional dress code and safety standards

• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 12/13/2025)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (No weekends or on-call)
• Hours per Week: 40 guaranteed hours
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,210–$2,370
