Direct the day-to-day operations of the facility and manage staff development to ensure high-quality care and compliance with Joint Commission and CMS regulations. Create and sustain an environment aligned with the organization’s mission, vision and values, and develop relationships with local industry, government, health care providers, and the public. Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments (e.g., Nursing, Admissions, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, Regulatory Affairs) to drive patient care outcomes. Ensure hospital quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes and adherence to accreditation and regulatory guidelines. Recruit physicians and staff in targeted specialty areas, coordinate medical staff participation in new hospital ventures and develop new areas of medical care offered at the hospital. Develop and expand outpatient care and ambulatory programs as part of strategic growth; maintain a strong referral base and ensure timely financial/operational reviews; participate in corporate-wide strategic planning. Communicate operational circumstances and events to supervisors and relevant stakeholders to keep all apprised; manage contract negotiations and coordination with the commercial payor community. Achieve budgeted financial objectives, increase revenues, manage cost controls, and monitor census-building efforts and strategic planning. Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and monitor the facility’s services and delivery systems. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred. Current or recent experience as a behavioral executive (e.g., CEO) at a behavioral health facility or as a director of a large acute care facility with a sizable psychiatric department. Working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations. Strong knowledge of state and federal regulatory and accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management. Experience with operations, financial management and marketing methods; willingness and ability to travel at least 10% of the time. Benefits and Opportunities
