• Description: RATES:Malpractice Must be included in rates.Orientation half the hourly/callback rate kicks in after 8 hours. Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours Hourly 250 - Per hour not OT Holiday 375 - Must be 1.5x the hourly rate. Per holiday hour no OT Nightly Call 600 - Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis Holiday Nightly Call - 900 - Per night call to hold the pager to include 2.5 hours gratis On Call Daily 1700 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - 2550 - Per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratisCall Back 250 Per hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms. Holiday Call Back 375 Per holiday hour of patient contact hours after gratis hours are completed gratis prorate to MSA terms. Summary: Assist with the inpatient management of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients including preoperative perioperative and postoperative care.Rotating 24 hour First Call for the CVT service among twoFirst assist in CVT surgeries. Round on inpatients coordinate interdisciplinary care with Medical teams.Consult on ER patients providing diagnosis appropriate plan of care and referrals as appropriate.Order interpret and analyze diagnostic tests.Prescribe medications as necessary.Works within a multidisciplinary team.Additional duties as assigned by leadership.Schedule/Availability Requirements:We will be looking for locums to start 9/25/25 and would prefer blocks of availability 2-3 months at a time in order for the team to become comfortable with the locum.Facility Location: San Martin Campus: 8280 W.
