As an Employee Data Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting employees through key transitions such as onboarding, offboarding, and data changes. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including Legal, Payroll, IT, and other HR functions to ensure data accuracy and a seamless employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the involuntary and voluntary separation processes with a focus on compliance and employee experience.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee offboarding questions.

  • Manage documentation requests from legal partners.

  • Oversee the U.S. work authorization program including vendor relationships, auditing, and compliance.

  • Handle a high volume of employee cases with professionalism and efficiency.

  • Partner with teams across Recruitment, Payroll, and HR via case management tools.

  • Conduct regular audits and updates of employee data in Workday.

  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and internal standards.

  • Support ad hoc reporting, dashboards, and metrics as needed.

  • Drive process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.

  • Mentor junior members of the Employee Data team and assist with onboarding new specialists.

  • Serve as the escalation point in the absence of the team’s manager.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3+ years of HR experience resolving complex employee inquiries.

  • Proficiency in Workday HRIS and experience resolving data discrepancies.

  • High volume case management experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent time management and ability to work under deadlines.

  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Formal process improvement training (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

  • Experience in a centralized HR or shared services environment.

  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist.

  • Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools and remote work best practices.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
