We are currently expanding our team and seeking a qualified General Manager focused on driving sales and service excellence for our luxury fitness brand. This is the perfect opportunity to interact with clients daily and create a supportive community!
Position: The General Manager will oversee all studio functions, including sales and operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead generation through grassroots marketing and networking
Implement sales processes to convert prospects into classes
Drive membership and retail sales
Manage vendor relationships and inventory
Hire and manage instructors
Use gym management software and POS systems for reports
Review instructor evaluations
Make high-level customer service decisions
Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
Enforce policies and procedures
Ensure supplies and literature are stocked
Participate in community events and promotions
Manage marketing campaigns to generate leads
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2+ years of fitness sales or relevant sales experience (preferred)
Proven ability to generate personal sales and train sales staff
Experience managing multiple revenue streams
Management or supervisory experience
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, diverse environment
Solution-oriented, results-driven, competitive spirit
Ability to identify and implement improvements
Passion for fitness
Highly organized with proficiency in data management
Professional, punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
Trustworthy with confidential information
Ability to work harmoniously with others
Proficiency with computers and studio software
College degree (preferred)
Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Willingness to travel to California for training
Compensation & Perks:
Competitive hourly rate plus commissions and bonuses
