STARTING SALARY: $14.06 - $15.46 per hour
POSITION: Custodian • Part Time
POSITION NO: 7.207
DEPT: Leisure Services - Parks & Rec.
This is moderately heavy manual work in routine housekeeping and domestic tasks in the Leisure Services Department. Responsibilities include utilizing proper methods and materials to clean and maintain facilities and equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the materials, methods, and equipment used in custodial work. Ability to learn and implement custodial duties. Ability to read and comprehend simple verbal and written instructions; communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to make minor repairs and adjustments to cleaning equipment. Ability to physically perform routine custodial tasks. Ability to lift, carry, pull, push, and maneuver materials weighting up to 50 pounds. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees; exercise good judgment and tact when addressing the public. Training, Certification, and Experience
Minimum one year commercial custodial experience. Or, an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Special Requirements
Valid Florida driver's license.
