Back Office File Clerk
for a company located in Victorville, CA. Please see job requirements below to be considered. Pay rate: $17 -$18 Hourly Shift: Tuesdays and Wednesday, 7:30am to 4pm - with potential up to 24 hours weekly with picking up an extra day during the week Purpose/Role Support the Account Resolution Back Office Team by efficiently handling incoming mail, preparing documents for scanning, and ensuring accurate digital archiving. This position helps maintain timely and organized documentation critical to resolving customer accounts.
Key Job Responsibilities
- The contractor will
support
the following activities:
Receive, sort, and open incoming mail related to customer accounts. Prepare physical documents for scanning (e.g., removing staples, organizing pages). Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents accurately and efficiently. Index and upload scanned documents into the appropriate systems or folders. Verify image quality and document completeness post-scan. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information securely. Assist with general clerical tasks as needed to support the back-office team. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of account-related documentation. Work Environment:
Office-based role with physical handling of paper documents. May require standing or sitting for extended periods. Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Requirements
Must have recent, related clerical experience in an office environment Must have experience with scanning equipment and ability digitize documents Ability to index and uploaded scanned documents in the appropriate systems and/or folders Accuracy and attention to detail Well organized and ability to manage time efficiently Must be able to work 3 days a week and the required shift hours Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
