The Patient Access Clinician Schedule Coordinator will offer collaboration and subject matter expertise with creating, updating, and managing clinicians' schedules and preferences; to ensure accuracy and efficiency for patient appointments using Patient Access Department best practices. This position is directly responsible in the startup of joining partnerships, denovos, and onboarding clinicians to Forefront Dermatology along with fill rates.
Schedule : 40 hours/week
Monday - Friday 10a-630p CST

Responsibilities
Operations Assist with creating, updating, and/or distributing clinician schedules/templates.
Format clinician schedules and templates in Excel, Professional Preferences and Practice Management Systems Manage vacation, out of office, and other time off requests. Blocking, cancelling, and opening of a schedule, day(s)/week(s). Managing ticketing system with appropriate turnaround times Assist in the startup of joining partnerships, new clinics and onboarding clinicians. Update answering service of on-call schedule. Inform and update after hours services per clinician/clinic.
Practice Management Database - including but not limited to:
Ensure to maintain accurate clinician schedules/templates. Ensure fulfillment of a clinician's schedule per recommended guidelines. Ensure proper guidelines are followed via weekly review of clinician schedules and educate/direct scheduling staff (central or clinic) in correction of errors or general scheduling issues.
Responsible for the Professional Preferences portal, entering in new clinics and clinicians, and ensures it is accurate and up to date. Must attend mandatory meetings which include but are not limited to Onboarding/Acquisition, Customer Service, Department and Staff Meetings. This position may require essential functions to perform other related tasks as assigned. Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED/HSED equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred. 1-3+ years Practice Management Systems experience required . Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
NextGen and Practice Management experience required Data Analyst experience highly recommended Must be able to demonstrate leadership by serving as an example to others regarding professional behavior, handling multiple tasks, maintaining a positive attitude, and in response to organizational change. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; must be able to learn new software quickly. Must possess excellent leadership, organizational, computer, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with clinicians, staff, board, clients, and the public. Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team. Ability to use time productively and contribute to high levels of company operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Physical Demands
Ability to communicate in an active and fast-paced, multi-office environment. Ability to efficiently operate all job-related office equipment (telephone, computer, web-camera, headset, rightfax). Ability to communicate via telephone, email, Teams, Zoom, other as needed. Ability to sit for large portions of a workday. Ability to work on and look at computer screen(s) for large portions of a workday.
For this position, the base pay range is $23.45 - $23.95 per hour. Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education, certification, or training.
