Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the appearance and sanitation of buildings, offices, restrooms, and public spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors in all assigned areas
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins and replace liners
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors
• Refill restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
• Maintain janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance issues such as broken fixtures or unsafe conditions

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends if needed
