Job Description And Duties
Under the close supervision of the SSM I, the Office Assistant (Typing) performs a variety of administrative functions, including operating a multi-line phone system, using the Guardian data system to answer questions about criminal record background check processes, and directing calls to the appropriate person or office. Incumbent provides receptionist duties, greets visitors, and ensures access to a secure building per security policies.
Applicants with knowledge of CCLD licensing laws and procedures, background check case management system, Licensing Information System (LIS), and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software are highly desirable and may receive priority consideration.
