ICU RN - multiple locations (Fort Walton Beach, Lake Monroe, FL)

In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. Requirements

• 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) acute care ER, ICU, or CVICU RN experience required.
• PCU/IMCU experience considered with 2+ years of experience.
• Active RN license in Florida or eligible for compact licensure.
• If 3+ years of RN experience and a compact license, candidates may be considered while pursuing FL license.
• If less than 3 years of RN experience, candidates must take the NCLEX in FL before consideration.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN preferred.
• Additional required certifications within 90 days of hire:
• ACLS
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Schedule & Benefits

• Shifts available: Days or Nights (rotating weekends).
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2–3.
• Unit: 10-bed ICU with continuous monitoring; typical census 8–10 patients; patient stay averages 3–4 days.
• Patient population: Medical/Surgical ICU patients, vented, vasoactive medications, low acute trauma, cardiac, pulmonary, and metabolic cases.
• Shadow shift required before hire (day or night depending on schedule).
• Competitive compensation with night shift and specialty pay differentials.
• Sign-on bonus: $10k Days / $15k Nights.
