Overview
The Human Resource (HR) Generalist at Complexus Medical plays a central role in shaping and sustaining a high-performance culture across our Plymouth and Mishawaka facilities. As a growing medical manufacturer, we rely on the HR Generalist to not only administer core HR functions but also to serve as a trusted partner to leadership and staff in building accountability, compliance, and engagement. This role balances hands on HR administration with forward-looking initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, drive employee development, and ensure the organization remains compliant with regulatory and industry standards.
Pay
Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Lead recruitment efforts for both production and professional roles, ensuring job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and selection align with our workforce and cultural needs. Deliver a seamless onboarding process that accelerates new hires’ readiness to contribute, while reinforcing Complexus values and safety standards.
- Employee Relations & Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for employees with workplace concerns, policy questions, or conflict resolution needs. Foster trust and transparency by facilitating open communication between staff and leadership, supporting a culture of accountability, respect, and continuous improvement.
- Performance & Development: Administer performance reviews, goal-setting, and feedback processes to ensure alignment with business priorities and employee growth. Support leadership in developing career paths and skill-building opportunities that enhance retention and succession planning.
- Compensation, Benefits & Compliance: Administer payroll and employee benefits programs with precision and confidentiality. Ensure HR practices comply with all applicable employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO, FLSA) and medical industry regulations. Partner with leadership on wage benchmarking, job leveling, and workforce planning.
- Safety, Wellness & Training: Champion workplace safety by supporting OSHA compliance, safety training, and employee wellness programs. Coordinate training initiatives that strengthen workforce knowledge in quality, safety, and operational excellence. Maintain records and partner with supervisors to ensure ongoing compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.
- HR Policy & Process Improvement: Update and enforce HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in alignment with Complexus Medical’s values and industry obligations. Streamline HR processes and leverage HRIS systems to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of HR or related administrative experience, ideally in a manufacturing or regulated industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- High integrity and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

Working Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site position, based primarily in Plymouth with regular presence in our Mishawaka facility. Occasional travel may be required for recruitment events, training sessions, or company activities. The HR Generalist will work closely with managers, supervisors, and employees at all levels to ensure HR practices support both people and performance at Complexus Medical.
