Overview
Addison Group is representing a real estate and investment company located in Downtown Seattle, seeking a Senior Treasury Accountant to join their growing finance organization. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and analysis of cash, debt, and related treasury activities. The ideal candidate combines strong accounting skills with a deep understanding of cash management processes and a collaborative approach to working across departments.
Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Perform daily cash accounting, including recording cash receipts, disbursements, and intercompany transfers.
Reconcile cash balances across multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate closely with Accounts Payable to manage cash outflows, coordinate funding needs, and optimize payment timing.
Maintain detailed schedules and reconciliations for all debt instruments, including interest accruals, amortization, and covenant compliance.
Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly cash flow reports, identifying trends and variances.
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations related to cash, debt, and interest expense.
Assist in maintaining banking relationships and resolving operational issues related to cash management.
Partner with CFO to support short- and long-term cash forecasting efforts.
Contribute to process improvements and internal control enhancements within treasury accounting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in treasury accounting.
Solid understanding of cash management, debt, and intercompany transactions.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger processes.
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
