Histopathology Executive | Expert CRO Operations & Client Partnerships Glint Lab, a research-focused Histopathology CRO in San Diego, is looking for an
Associate Scientist – Histopathology
to join our small, collaborative team. You will work with tissues and cells from various species including rodent, porcine, xenograft, and human—performing everything from accessioning and grossing to sectioning, staining, and digital whole slide scanning. We run a wide range of methods including IHC, special stains, multiplex IF, and RNA ISH, so every week brings something new to learn. We value scientific integrity, teamwork, and curiosity. You’ll have opportunities to learn new techniques, contribute to lab automation efforts, and help shape our growing organization. What we’re looking for: B.S. in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Biomedical Science, Pathology, or related field) 1–3 years hands-on histology experience Experience grossing rodent tissues and sectioning FFPE blocks (microtome) Experience with cryosectioning and/or digital slide scanning a plus Experience with IHC staining, preferably with automated systems such as Leica Bond and/or Ventana Discovery is a plus HTL license a plus but not required On-site in our San Diego (Sorrento Valley) lab only. Remote work is not available.
