We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Estate Planning Attorney to work on complex and high net worth estate planning, tax planning, and wealth preservation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, estate tax returns, and a deep understanding of wealth management, with a proven track record advising high net worth clients. This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive legal advice to high net worth individuals and families regarding tax planning, estate planning, and wealth preservation. Draft, review, and revise complex legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Collaborate with other professionals such as financial advisors, accountants, and tax consultants to develop holistic estate plans. Stay abreast of current legislation and regulatory changes that may affect clients\' estate and tax planning. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their wealth management goals and objectives. Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters. Conduct legal research and analysis on various estate and tax planning matters. Provide guidance on the legal implications of various wealth management strategies. Develop and implement tax-efficient structures for wealth preservation and succession planning. Qualifications
Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and wealth management. Licensed to practice law in IL. Proven experience advising high net worth clients on estate and tax planning. Extensive knowledge of federal and state tax laws, estate planning, trusts, and wealth preservation strategies. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal and financial concepts clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. High degree of professional ethics and integrity. Excellent client management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality legal services. Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
