We have opportunities to drive sales activities for Principal Funds Distribution in regions including the Dakotas and Minnesota, WI and the Upper Peninsula of MI, or Chicago. This position partners closely with the Internal Wholesaler within the territory to grow advisor relationships. Accountable for achieving sales targets and managing broker-dealer relationships within all channels covering our ETFs, Separately Managed Accounts and Mutual Funds. Other responsibilities will include: Develop, recommend and implement sales plans, activity reports and rotation schedules with a focus on growing market share. May provide input on marketing, product development, shareholder/broker communications and integration of campaigns with broker dealers and fund wholesaling teams. Bachelor's degree or equivalent required and 4+ years related industry experience with at least two of those years sales specific (sales, investment products, capital markets, partnering with advisors). FINRA licensing required including SIE or equivalent, Series 7 and 63. Significant public speaking is required. Proficiency is extremely important. Demonstrated product expertise and broad understanding of overall product portfolio required. Knowledge of investment products and financial markets needed. Travel required. Salary and Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary combined with incentive earnings. The base salary will provide financial stability, while the incentive component offers additional earning potential based on performance metrics. Salary Range

$100000 - $100000 / year Time Off and Other Benefits

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides time off with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
