LHH is assisting our client in recruiting a Staff Accountant for a temporary 3-month assignment. This role is based in Emeryville, CA, and offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to manage various financial tasks efficiently. Base pay range
$40.00/hr - $45.00/hr Staff Accountant Key responsibilities
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay $40hr-$45hr Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
