Job details Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing real estate transactions from start to finish, with a focus on industrial park acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financings. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented attorney who can handle contracts, run deals independently, and perform comprehensive due diligence, including title and survey review.
Key responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and ancillary agreements.
Manage transactions from term sheet through closing, coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.
Conduct and oversee real estate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental review.
Review and resolve title and survey issues, prepare objection letters, and coordinate curative actions.
Support clients in connection with industrial park developments, acquisitions, and operations.
Provide clear, practical legal advice and risk assessments to help clients achieve business goals.
Maintain organized files, track key deal milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
4+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on transactions and due diligence
Strong understanding of title and survey review, leasing, financing, and closing processes
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple deals independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Experience with industrial assets strongly preferred
