Director of Recruiting and Development / Attorney role at Segal McCambridge (Chicago). This is an opportunity for an ambitious litigator to join a nationally recognized litigation firm and gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of experienced trial lawyers in a toxic tort (asbestos) defense team. Licensed in Illinois
(Active and in good standing). Admission in surrounding states (IN, MO, WI, OH, MI) is a plus. 1–5 years of experience
in civil defense litigation, with a focus on: Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery Taking and defending depositions Conducting legal research and case analysis Communicating with clients and/or insurance carriers Strong writing and advocacy skills Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills Experience with mediations/arbitrations is a plus but not required Key Responsibilities
