Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager
to join our team and support drainage channel and detention basin projects in Houston, TX. This key role focuses on delivering drainage and flood mitigation projects across Harris County, with emphasis on effective coordination, technical leadership, and project execution. Responsibilities
Lead and manage engineering projects related to drainage channels, detention basins, and flood control infrastructure. Provide oversight on design development, quality control, and compliance with local agency standards. Support program-level management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and client communication. Utilize project management tools such as Primavera P6 and Unifier to track progress and manage deliverables (preferred but not required). Prepare and review engineering documents, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development and technical excellence. Qualifications
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas required. Familiarity with Primavera P6 and Unifier preferred. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and civil site design. Proven experience managing drainage and stormwater projects from planning through construction. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 7+ years of relevant civil engineering and project management experience. Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale infrastructure or flood control projects. Benefits
