Overview
Designer & Installer - Interior Window Treatments is a position with Custom Decorators, Inc., a division of Hunter Douglas. The role focuses on in-home design, consultation, and installation of custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and drapery. Responsibilities
Measure and install all products in all locations of the home, including shutters, drapes, blinds, curtains, and related window treatments. Provide expert guidance to customers on design selections and product options. Manage on-site measurements and ensure quality installation and customer satisfaction. Who We’re Looking For
Experienced design & sales professionals to partner as in-home custom window treatment Designers. Experience with interior blinds, shades, shutters, drapery, and outdoor roller shades. Backgrounds in bath remodels, home-investment and remodeling services; independent design company owners seeking to expand their business; or experienced salespersons with a passion for selling in the home. Excellent sales and customer service skills. Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold (training provided). Ability to anticipate customer needs using an industry-proven sales process. Ability to recommend products to meet home design needs. Willingness to learn and participate in professional training and development opportunities to increase sales performance. Education and Experience
Experience using CRM and data entry systems (e.g., SFDC, SAP) required. Physical Requirements
Periods of standing and walking throughout in-home and retail spaces. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times (window treatment samples). Must be able to perform basic window measurements within arm’s reach. Training & onboarding compensation provided for this commissioned position with the company. Employment Details
