Medical Director
to lead our clinical operations in Plantation, Florida. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician leader who is passionate about quality improvement, patient outcomes, and team development in a value-based care environment. Position Summary
The
Medical Director
will oversee all medical care and quality of services provided within the center. This position is responsible for ensuring high standards of care, mentoring clinicians, supporting provider recruitment and retention, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. The role also includes providing direct patient care within an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities
Lead all aspects of clinical care delivery, quality management, and patient safety. Develop, review, and implement medical policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines. Supervise and evaluate physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Ensure completion of
HEDIS
and quality metrics, appropriate
risk adjustment coding , and care coordination. Oversee performance improvement initiatives and participate in peer review processes. Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of medical providers. Maintain compliance with
OSHA, ACHA, infection control , and emergency preparedness standards. Handle complex patient issues, provider performance matters, and quality improvement action plans. Lead or participate in clinical governance committees, including Quality and Adverse Events. Provide direct primary care to patients as part of a manageable clinical load. Qualifications
Education & Experience MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Minimum
2 years of clinical experience
in primary care (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine). Minimum
1 year of leadership experience
as a Medical Director or equivalent role. Experience with multicultural populations and value-based care strongly preferred. Licensure & Certification Active and unrestricted
Florida medical license . Board certification in
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine . Current
DEA ,
BLS , and
ACLS
