Position Summary
The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetics & Metabolism, University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Tampa is seeking a physician who is Board Certified or eligible in Clinical Genetics for a full-time Clinical Faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above. The successful candidate will join a team of 2 clinical geneticists, 1 biochemical geneticist, 5 genetic counselors, 3 metabolic dieticians, and 4 research coordinators. Primary responsibilities include the evaluation and management of pediatric and adult patients with genetic and metabolic disorders in both the outpatient and inpatient settings. Outpatients may be seen at USF Health Clinics. The inpatient services will include consultations at Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. As a clinical teaching faculty, the chosen candidate will be expected to participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and genetic counselor students, as well as participate in research programs, including clinical trials and other clinical research.
