Agile Scrum Master II

W2 Contract, 12 months with potential to extend or convert Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 1st shift Pay Rate:
Starting at $60/hourly with optional benefits including 401k, medical insurance, and PTO Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support multiple Agile Scrum Teams across complex initiatives involving internal, external, onshore, offshore, business, and technical resources. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and agile practices including daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and cross-team coordination. Ensure adherence to Scrum values: courage, focus, commitment, respect, and openness. Identify and resolve delivery impediments; escalate unresolved issues to senior leadership. Manage risks and issues, ensuring they do not recur. Foster continuous improvement and drive team maturity in Agile principles and Scrum practices. Monitor team health and project needs proactively. Serve as an Agile subject matter expert and mentor; contribute to Agile COE/COPs. Support Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization; maintain relevant metrics. Build strong team environments with high morale and cohesion. Facilitate conflict resolution within teams and stakeholders; escalate serious conflicts. Promote transparency in delivery progress, quality, and schedule. May perform additional duties as assigned. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Proven experience as a Scrum Master using Agile Scrum methodology. Strong servant-leader mindset with coaching and mentoring capabilities. Experience delivering modern enterprise software using Agile methods. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira). Familiarity with App Dev best practices including automation and CI/CD pipelines. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 4 years of related experience in enterprise IT project delivery using Agile methods. Scrum Master Certification (CSM) preferred. Previous project management experience and applicable certifications preferred.
