$42.00/hr - $52.00/hr Hybrid – On-site in Chicago once per week per client policy Candidates must be local to the Chicagoland area Duration: 6- and 12-month contracts available. Top Skills & Requirements Prior experience with Agile Scrum methodology in a Scrum Master role Strong servant-leader mindset with coaching and mentoring skills Experience delivering modern software for enterprises using Agile Agile management tools (e.g., Jira) Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills Key Responsibilities Serve, lead, coach, and support multiple Agile Scrum Teams on complex initiatives Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and agile practices: Daily standups Sprint reviews Ensure teams adhere to Scrum values: courage, focus, commitment, respect, openness Identify and resolve delivery impediments; escalate unresolved issues to senior leadership Manage risks and issues and act to ensure they do not recur Foster continuous improvement and drive substantial team enhancements via retrospectives Guide teams in Agile maturity and consistent velocity improvements Monitor and assess team health and project needs Act as Agile subject matter expert, thought leader, and mentor Provide guidance to junior Scrum Masters and feedback on Agile tools/processes Support Product Owner in backlog management and prioritization Maintain strong relationships within Agile team, especially with Product Owner Coordinate interactions within and outside the Scrum Team Facilitate and manage conflict resolution; escalate serious conflicts to leadership Promote delivery of quality products with transparency around progress, quality, and schedule May perform additional duties as assigned Education & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; or equivalent work experience Typically a minimum of four years of related work experience in enterprise IT using Agile delivery methods Experience with internal and external (onshore/offshore) teams Experience contributing to Agile COE or Communities of Practice is a plus Project management certifications are a plus Minimum of four years of related work experience Experience in enterprise IT environments using Agile delivery methods Project delivery background preferred Seniority level
