Overview
Senior Product Manager, Cloud Platform – HID, Austin, Texas. As the Senior Product Manager for HID Origo Cloud Platform, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for HID’s Cloud platform enabling mobile identity and credential management within the HID Origo Cloud ecosystem. You will be responsible for driving innovation in cloud-based credential customer and channel partner onboarding, subscription management, mobile credential provisioning, and partner integrations that enable secure, scalable, and seamless access control experiences across enterprise, education, healthcare, and government verticals. Responsibilities
Develop and refine the product vision for mobile identity and credential management within the HID Origo Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and evolving trends in mobile access and cloud security. Own and drive the product roadmap by prioritizing impactful features, while partnering with engineering, UX, and program management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases. Gather insights from customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, and conduct market and competitive research to inform strategic product decisions. Lead mobile credential provisioning initiatives, including lifecycle management, credential profile definition, artwork standards, and partner onboarding processes. Design and manage scalable, secure, and compliant cloud infrastructure workflows for customer onboarding, subscription management, billing, and analytics, while driving API strategy and partner integrations for seamless deployment across PACS, OEMs, and third-party platforms. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success, and support teams to drive go-to-market success and customer adoption, while representing the product and team in executive and leadership forums, industry events, and portfolio reviews, ensuring alignment through SAFe and Lean Portfolio Management practices. Establish tools and processes for timely, professional customer communications regarding service disruptions, technical support, product quality, security, release notifications, and maintenance events, while ensuring privacy compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Collaborate with technical teams to maintain operational excellence across IT, engineering, support, and quality functions; ensure service agreements are in place, publish timely external statements on incidents, and define metrics for measuring and improving service delivery. Your Experience and Background
7+ years of product management experience, preferably in cloud platforms, mobile identity, or physical security software technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and SaaS delivery models. Experience with subscription management and billing for Cloud/SaaS product offerings. Experience with multi-tenant and hierarchical channel/end-user based cloud operations. Experience with deployment of global and regional cloud platforms covering North America, Europe, Middle-East, and APAC, considering regulatory and technical compliance in different markets. Understanding of access control and mobile credential technologies (e.g., Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, NFC, BLE). Experience analyzing user experience journeys and workflows for continuous evolution of Cloud/SaaS platforms. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex software product lifecycles. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; experience mentoring and empowering teams, influencing strategic decisions, and balancing business priorities with data-informed decision making.
