Atlanta Recovery Place (ARP) offers personalized aftercare with structure and support for lasting recovery by focusing on mental, physical and emotional healing. What we are looking for in a Clinical Director:
The Clinical Director is responsible for the supervision of the clinical staff. They will consult with the CEO, Physician, and Utilization Review Department as needed. The Clinical Director maintains close communication with the clinical staff, provides any information relevant to the program’s operation and assists in developing and modifying the program as a whole. The Clinical Director monitors documentation by the clinical staff in order to ensure that documentation is maintained at the highest level and is responsible to provide 24-hour management of the clinical function of the facility. Must Have
: LMFT, LCSW, LPC, no associate licensure. Salary Range:
$70,000-$80,000
Responsibilities
Oversight of all programs, assuring safety of clients and safety of the unit
Provide training for case managers and clinical department
Hold a small caseload of individual clients and group work
Facilitate Family work for individual clients
On call responsibilities
Address and resolve client grievances and or any barrier to effective treatment
Leading and developing the clinical program and team
Coordinating with compliance department to establish and evaluate systems of assuring documentation is completed on time
Assist in signing off on documentation and reviewing clinical documentation
Participate in leadership meetings to facilitate performance improvement
Providing guidance to staff when clients are at risk for leaving treatment early
Providing guidance to staff for managing clients that are symptomatic
Provide ideas for team building and social events for the care team
Work with the UR team to ensure proper documentation
Assess clinicians’ documentation and ensure timeliness and completion of thorough notation of client progress
Audit/add to EMR (Kipu) to simplify process for staff
Ensure appropriate and full discharge plans are made for each client leaving our care
Minimum Qualifications
Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW, or LMFT)
Experience working in mental/behavior health
Experience working in a 24-hour setting
Ability to be on call and accessible to facility in after hours if needed
A minimum of 2 years administrative and management setting familiarity, with Performance Improvement and JCAHO Standards necessary
Communication skills to relate to all levels of management
Self-motivated and confident Application of Continuous Quality Improvement/ Performance
Experience with an EMR
Improvement philosophy and ability to develop organizational strategy
