Overview In partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado in Colorado Springs, the University of Colorado Department of Anesthesiology Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology is expanding and has openings for full-time Pediatric Anesthesiologists.

Our collegial group of attending pediatric anesthesiologists personally provide anesthesia care 100% of the time. Our Colorado Springs hospital has a referral area covering 6 states and includes most pediatric subspecialities including but not limited to pediatric surgery, ENT (including craniofacial), urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, level 2 trauma, gastroenterology, and acute pain. There is no cardiac, transplant, or burn surgery at this location. All anesthesiologists should be comfortable with regional anesthesia.

Practice setting Call is equitably distributed and is a mix of in-house and pager call. Physicians will contribute to the teaching needs of the Department and the School of Medicine primarily through occasional medical student and fellow education in the OR. There is no expectation to contribute to the research missions of the University.

Compensation and benefits The Colorado Springs practice uses a clinical day equivalent (“CDE”) compensation model to determine total compensation such that variable pay is available for additional compensation of up to $178,344. The CDE model also follows a unique but very competitive leave program.

We offer a competitive compensation package including exceptional benefits, educational funds, and an unbeatable work-life balance in beautiful Colorado!
