Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a board-certified/board-eligible cardio-oncologist at the associate professor or professor rank, with an extramurally funded clinical or translational research program to lead an elite team of academic physicians. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership in both clinical care and research initiatives, leading the Cardio-Oncology Section with a focus defining the mechanisms underlying cardiovascular toxicity of oncologic treatments, advancing preventative care, and managing cardiovascular complications from therapy. Responsibilities will include expanding outpatient and inpatient consultative services in routine and complex cardio-oncology care in our world-class facilities at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and the James Cancer Hospital, and Solove Research Institute, advancing cardio-oncology research, and mentoring junior faculty and trainees. Responsibilities

Expand outpatient and inpatient consultative services in routine and complex cardio-oncology care at OSU facilities. Lead the Cardio-Oncology Section within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Advance cardio-oncology research and mentoring of junior faculty and trainees. Requirements

Board Eligible/Certified Successful completion of a US-accredited cardiology fellowship Eligible for an Ohio License Clinical and extramurally funded research desirable Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary commensurate with training and experience Division & Facilities

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine comprises over 60 cardiology and vascular medicine specialists and is affiliated with the Ross Heart Hospital, which is nationally recognized. The division offers multiple fellowship programs and provides services across Ohio and Kentucky. The OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J.
