Overview
Temporary Support Associate - Holiday based in White Plains, NY. This role supports the store’s overall success and efficiency, delivering friendly, efficient customer interactions at the cash wrap and maintaining an organized sales floor. The role involves accurate and effective work to support the flow of product from receipt to sale. Responsibilities
CASH WRAP: Greet customers, establish rapport, read cues to determine needs, conduct email/name capture where permitted, operate POS accurately, keep cash wrap clean and organized, suggest add-ons and gift cards, ensure cash/POS media accuracy and compliance with policy, thank customers and encourage return visits, and represent the Coach brand appropriately. STOCKROOM / WAREHOUSE: Receive shipments and transfers, notify management of arrivals, scan cartons, verify information, communicate discrepancies, process shipments according to standards and timeframes, organize the stock room daily (including offsite as applicable), arrange product for sell-through, manage stock ownership on back-of-house and sales floor, conduct regular cycle counts and participate in inventory as scheduled, maintain Loss Prevention standards. SALES FLOOR: Regularly analyze replenishment needs, replenish floor/zone, respond to sell-through and execute visual merchandising needs, support floor activities, communicate price points/features/benefits/stock availability to customers, fulfill customer requests with confidence, partner with sales team or management as needed, drive results and contribute to top performance. Qualifications
Experience: 1–3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in a luxury retail service environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and competitors in the marketplace. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), ability to use walkie talkie, read price and product release sheets. Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; effective communication with customers and team; ability to maneuver on the sales floor, stock room, and shelves; ability to climb, bend, and kneel; able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds when processing shipments/transfers.
