Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full time Manufacturing Engineer for their plant located just 30 minutes south of Cookeville, TN.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction

Design and modify tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production goals

Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for production issues

Implement lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, standard work, etc.)

Support new product introductions and engineering changes
-
Develop and maintain process documentation (work instructions, PFMEA, control plans)
-
Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
-
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of relevant engineering experience
-
Bachelor's or Associates degree in Engineering preferred

Experience with plastic extrusion (required), welding, stamping, and automated assembly lines.

Automotive industry background and knowledge of IATF, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ISO/TS standards
