Overview

Principal Cloud DevOps Engineer – Operations at Entrust. The role focuses on deploying and maintaining IFIaaS cloud environments in Hybrid Cloud, managing CI/CD pipelines, and participating in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure high availability and performance. Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support a fully on-premises infrastructure using VMware, NetApp, and automation tools to manage a highly distributed microservices environment. Operate with immutable infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to automate and manage secure, scalable on-prem environments. Lead design and deployment of IFIaaS service initiatives; be ultimately responsible for IFIaaS application reliability, maintenance, and upgrades. Contribute to service operations center activities, proactively analyzing data to ensure uptime and quality of service. Perform product evaluations and make product recommendations; implement system enhancements and automation to improve performance and reliability. Update build books, automation, and create new templates as required. Manage activities with integrity and in accordance with organizational policies and programs; provide escalation assistance as needed. Perform incident analysis and problem resolution; analyze data to measure QoS and scalability. Collaborate with network architects to design and implement functional networks; work with Network CoE on network security measures. Coach and mentor junior engineering staff; conduct regular network performance tests. Scope Epics, User Stories, and support weekly sprint planning; handle escalated application support issues. Contribute to the operations support model and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance windows as assigned. Other duties and projects as required. Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of IT deployments experience. Extensive experience with enterprise-scale microservices, including deployment and maintenance in distributed environments. Extensive hands-on experience with DevOps tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, etc.); strong networking, network security, and high-level managerial skills. Flexibility to support a 24x7 on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance. Ability to work onsite five days a week at one of Entrust’s designated office locations (Minneapolis, Ottawa, Colorado, or Dallas). Where You Will Be

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is $134,939–$197,910 per year (in the primary posting location). Compensation is based on location, education, skills, and experience. Eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan. Benefits include health and well-being programs, 401(k) matching, life and disability insurance, mental health resources, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, and education reimbursement.
