Your Impact Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community's well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.
The SAR Business Development Leader has considerable engineering knowledge in their field and may provide leadership for their work group based on extensive experience. The individual in this role is responsible for providing guidance and oversight to multiple teams working on numerous projects. The SAR Business Development Leader oversees all phases of a technical project from conception and design to completion, while providing engineering guidance to other departments and training new engineering staff.

Responsibilities Note: The original description emphasizes leadership, oversight, and guidance across multiple teams on water infrastructure projects from concept through completion, with engineering guidance and staff training.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; master's degree preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Minimum 15 years' progressive engineering experience required
Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to practically apply best practices
Proficiency with MS Office software required
Understands QA/QC procedures and basic business practices as well as laws related to engineering
Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Completely familiar with and advocates for the company's standards for quality control and compliance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent knowledge of fundamentals in specialty areas
An active role in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
Proven ability to lead a team
Salary $200,000 - $225,000
Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
