has an opening for an
Associate Supply Chain Specialist
(Level 2) position who is responsible for working with customers, suppliers, and associated stakeholders to achieve solution delivery expectation in support of escalated requirements as part of our Boeing Global Services (BGS) Emergent Requirements (AOG) Team. The ideal candidate will have the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, and have a desire to provide world-class customer support either at our Seattle, WA location.
Responsibilities
Manages internal Purchase Orders from start to finish: Enters Purchase Orders, coordinates all schedule improvements/slides, engaging appropriate stakeholder to resolve complex issues, ensuring BCA PO’s are shipping on time.
Cultivates and maintains relationships and partnerships with Internal Customers, Peers, Engineering, Supplier Management, and other support functions.
Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholder to fulfill stocking strategies
Assist in managing supply and demand, supplier quality and On Time Delivery Performance
Participates in cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex issues pertaining to schedule slides, detail shortages, engineering revisions and other supply chain issues impacting on time delivery.
Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply, optimizing execution of the supply chain while balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand
Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
Engage in cross-functional communications to provide status updates for external customers
Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
Must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience)
Basic knowledge in supply chain management
Basic experience in customer support or customer service role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Effective verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proofreading and editing
100% on-site, 1st shift Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Bachelor’s Degree
Ability to lead multiple projects and integrated product teams
