Responsibilities
Set clear objectives and performance goals for each Account Manager; coach, mentor, and support their success. Achieve or exceed annual sales, revenue, and profitability goals for the region. Monitor pipeline activity through weekly team reviews; adjust strategies and forecasts as needed. Analyze regional performance and collaborate with the Area Vice President to refine plans and meet targets. Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Corporate Accounts, Finance, and Clinical teams to develop winning strategies for key accounts and major competitive conversions. Maintain deep knowledge of clinical applications, competitive products, and advanced selling techniques. Manage the regional budget responsibly and ensure adherence to company policies and objectives. Recruit, train, and develop top-tier sales talent; conduct performance reviews, compensation adjustments, and employee relations as needed. Represent the company\'s value proposition to hospital executives and decision-makers. Ensure timely, accurate reporting of sales activity, market intelligence, and forecasting. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships. Qualifications
5+ years of successful sales leadership experience in healthcare or medical technology. Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a growth-oriented environment. Strong strategic and tactical selling skills with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams and build clinical champions within accounts. Success introducing new healthcare technologies that drive clinical and process change. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills across all organizational levels. Highly organized, results-driven, and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities. High integrity and business acumen with the ability to thrive in dynamic, visible roles. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to travel frequently, including overnight stays. Seniority level
