The Revenue Manager is responsible for identifying and maximizing all potential revenue opportunities for the hotel. In today’s lodging environment, understanding channel and yield management is critical for maximizing revenues. The Revenue Manager formulates long- and short-term Revenue Management strategies and oversees their successful execution toward RevPAR market share growth. This includes analyzing revenue potential from transient and group segments and market segmentation within transient and group. The role integrates catering and space utilization and other revenue sources to determine the appropriate mix of business to achieve revenue potential daily. Responsibilities

Establish hotel pricing levels in all segments. Manage daily room inventory and pricing processes. Monitor competitor rates, positioning, and market dynamics; present action plans to management. Communicate occupancy fluctuations to operational departments to manage staffing and efficiency. Analyze local events and activities and project their impact on revenue opportunities. Develop accurate short- and long-term revenue forecasts using macro- and micro-economic factors. Perform unconstrained demand analysis to determine optimal business mix. Produce weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts (Weekly Forecasts, 30, 60, 90-day forecasts, monthly and full-year forecasts). Evaluate opportunities for contracted business (group, wholesale, corporate negotiated, etc.) through the Sales department to maximize profits. Maintain software programs for revenue management (CRS, RMS, PMS, and Sales & Catering systems). Monitor RevPAR index on STR reports and provide weekly/monthly performance analysis. Prepare annual Rooms revenue budget. Chair weekly Revenue Strategy meetings to formulate and disseminate strategies and assess effectiveness. Prepare and present quarterly ownership updates. Ensure distribution channels have correct content and pricing. Develop relationships with market managers of Third Party Intermediaries and other market revenue managers. Coordinate surveys to identify marketing and service opportunities to enhance revenue potential. Develop subordinates through training and participation in industry events. Oversee Internet marketing efforts (PPC, email, GDS, etc.). Communicate sales strategy and update calendars for the sales team. Analyze prior night successes and opportunities in the Highgate Hotel Business Review (HHBR) meeting. Test rate quoting accuracy with CRO and property teams. Manage group cut-off dates and pickup reporting, and review block versus actuals for potential extensions. Update the Daily Market Segment Analysis (DMSA) and review performance against potential. Complete month-end reports with detailed analysis and action plans as needed. Review Hotelligence reports for trends and sources of business and benchmark rates against competition. Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in Revenue Management as a manager or senior analyst. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hotel or Hospitality Management or related field. In-depth knowledge of industry reports (STR, Hotelligence, Market Vision, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Opera/Synxis systems preferred. Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with strong time management and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Flexible with long hours when required; maintains a warm, service-oriented demeanor. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain confidentiality of information. Attend required meetings and trainings; participate in MOD coverage as needed. Maintain regular attendance and professional appearance according to Highgate standards. Ability to problem-solve, analyze complex information, and implement solutions. Perform other duties as requested by management. Seniority level
