A reputable hedge fund in Miami is seeking an
Accounts Payable Manager
to oversee the firm’s payables operations and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within all vendor and payment processes. This individual will play a key role in improving workflows, implementing best practices, and supporting the accounting team in a fast-paced investment environment.
Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, and payments.
Oversee vendor setup, reconciliations, and expense allocations.
Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Collaborate with fund accounting and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
Supervise and mentor AP staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in accounts payable; financial services or hedge fund experience preferred.
Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting principles.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
